Giga Tech is also an electrical services contractor. We handle grid connections and supply upgrades, wire and protect commercial buildings, and install three-phase power for industrial plant — with the same engineering team, drawings and test documentation we bring to every solar project, whether there's a panel on the roof or not.
New supplies, single- to three-phase upgrades and capacity increases.
02 // Commercial powerShops, offices, warehouses, schools and clinics — wired, protected, certified.
03 // Industrial powerMotor control, VFDs, MCC panels and power factor correction.
Follow the supply: grid intake → main board → distribution → plant → test
A new building, a bigger machine, a second shift — every one of them starts with the supply. We prepare the installation, the paperwork and the meter position, and manage the process with ZETDC through to energisation, so you're not left chasing the utility between contractors.
Most electrical failures we're called to trace back to the main board: undersized breakers, no discrimination, poor earthing. We design and build switchboards with protection that's coordinated, not guessed — so a fault on one circuit takes out that circuit, not the whole building.
New builds, fit-outs, extensions and rewires of tired installations. We plan circuits around how the space is actually used — tills, cold rooms, server cupboards, air conditioning, security — and leave you with as-built drawings instead of a mystery in the ceiling.
Pumps, compressors, mills, conveyors and processing lines. This is where our mechatronics background matters: we don't just run a cable to a motor — we size the supply, select the starter, program the drive and protect the machine. Less tripping on start-up, lower energy bills, longer motor life.
Running heavy loads on diesel or an unreliable supply? The same engineering feeds straight into a solar or hybrid system. See solar for farms, mines & industry.
Every installation is tested before it's energised, and the results are written down and handed to you. When something does go wrong on an existing system — ours or someone else's — we find the fault methodically instead of replacing parts until it stops.
A new connection, a board that keeps tripping, a motor that won't start cleanly, or a full building install — send us a message with the site and what you're running. Photos of your current board and a recent ZESA bill help us quote faster.
